What to start next?

I seem to be at a stand-still. I've started Bonne Marie's Lacy Poncho, and while I'm loving it, I'm having a hard time keeping track of where I am in the row pattern. It's really not that complicated, but when I need to put it down and pick it up so often, I am easily getting lost. I think I might just have to put it aside for a bit.

I have worked on Boogie and I think that I need to perhaps get that 1/2 way finish before I start on something else. Of course, that means I have time to figure out what I want to do next.

This is what I'm thinking: Blaze - from the totally fab, new knitty.com. I think I even have a perfect yarn for it. I started Sally Melville's two tone sweater, but abandoned it last winter. It is a black slight mohair yarn and I think it would look really in something sort of delicate looking like this pattern.

Really what I need to do most is to re-assess my yarns and figure out what I need to use up.

I'm baaack!

How many times have I said that this summer??? I know, too many to count. But now I'm back from Maine for the rest of the summer, fall and much of the winter. While in Maine, I was able to get tons of knitting done (there is a lot you can get done, while sitting at the playground for 3 hours a day for 6 days straight). Sitcom Chic is finished and on my bod this very minute. I simply love it! It is awesome in Lion Brand Microspun yarn. It does roll a bit, and I may eventually sew a ribbon to the inside seams, but for now, it works and I love it.

I picked up some yummy yarn while in Maine, but sadly I should have gotten more (I thought I had 5 skeins and realized after returning home that I only had 4 - and I was wishing that I had gotten 6). so I had to look and look to find a pattern that would work. I settled on Boogie (a sweet little vest from Knitty). So far I've only got the back ribbing done, but it looks like it will be a quick knit.

I also picked up Bonne Maire's newest pattern - that smashing lacy poncho! I think I have the perfect yarn for it too.

Pictures will follow shortly. Gotta find my camera now. :)
