Barely time to breathe...

But it's a good thing - the start of school has been insanely crazy. Getting used to new classes and adjusting curriculums accordingly, adjusting to life with a suddenly aging parent-in-law across the street and getting ready for a big vacation!

The foremost in our minds right now is big Disney trip. This is a Big Deal in our house. We do not do regular 'vacations' other than visiting family and camping. But in less than a week we will on our way to WDW. It's been 8 years since we were there last time and 8 years before that when we went there on our honeymoon - so our track seems to be every 8 years.

We've got most of the arrangements all set - lordy we sure should - Pete's only been planning this for at least the last year and half! Literally. At least that is how long it has taken us to save for this trip, with money coming out of our bank account automatically into a CD especially for this trip. We've had all our reservations for every dinner for the 8 days we'll be there made since early this past summer plus the extra stuff we want to do. We've been re-reading the planning guides and touring books and have everything all mapped out.

My big focus now is to get the rest of the laundry done this weekend, get the final arrangements for Karly to go to the doggie spa for the week, pick up those last little things and get the rest of my school plans done for the month of October - that's the biggest challenge!
