The beginning

So here is the beginning. This is my kitchen before. Well, actually I'd already done a bunch of stuff to get to this point. That little 'window' in the middle of that wall? Well, there used to be a tiny door on it, and the door lead to this space behind the wall. The space went back about 4 feet and the right about two more feet. So while this gave us a lot of storage space, it was virtually unusable, since things would go in and never come out (or at least we could never find them again). Also all the molding around the the doorway to the bathroom (I'd long since ripped off the bathroom door because it took up too much room. On the wall straight ahead we had our pot rack, which really held quite a bit, I'm still at a bit of a loss on where to put the pots now.
