Cookies today!
That is the plan at least. I think I've got everything that I need for all the varieties that we will be making. This year, I'm planning on subbing the regular flour with a wheat-free blend that I've found to be undetectable in most things that I make. This way Sean can for the most part eat all the varieties we will be making.
If I had a camera I would snap some pics, but sadly I don't. :(
Because we wanted to do the cookie thing as a family it is looking like we won't make it to the Light Parade. The Light Parade is a big deal and usually EVERYONE goes to it, and will again this year because the weather is quiet mild. Pete usually takes the kids and I stay home to get stuff done. But I think we will all be missing it this year.

Ok ... I don't know why it took you posting about cookies before I could remember ... I use to make sugar cookies at Christmas with my kids and I loved it. No I don't mean I loved making them with my kids ... well i did ... but I mean I LOVED making the cookies. I have no idea where that cookbook is ... my life has been so strange for almost a decade ... I shall have to remedy this! Feel free to forward any fave recipes to me.
I'm very bummed for you re the camera. Mine got broke in a similar fashion to yours ... took a little bitty tumble with the lens extended ... sounded like a little egg hitting the carpet. I can still hear that little sound ... if felt like my heart broke! It felt silly to be so attached to a camera but it's not the camera. It's what the camera does!
I know this is why you were so upset. I didn't think you were horrible for being upset about a thing because camera's don't produce things ... they capture hope and love and all manner of indescribables! I hope Santa brings you one BEFORE Christmas :-)
Your writing has really broken free and taken off. I've enjoyed getting caught up!
