Should I put the scissors down?

I am in such desperate need of a haircut and I can't make an appointment until tomorrow (they are closed on Sundays), of course, then there is the whole idea of when I would actually be able get an appointment with Jen. Soo...... I'm about this | ----- | far from picking up the scissors and doing it myself. Basically what I really need are the bangs and front/sides addressed, which I could do. Right now, my bangs are down to my lips and while I was trying to do the dreaded 'grow them out', looking at past pictures of myself, I think I look better with bangs. Hmm? What to do? Maybe I will try to make one more call to get appointment with Jean today (she was my previous stylist), although she is almost always booked solid for weeks at a time.
