A Sense of Accomplishment
Well, after feeling like the weight of the world has been on my back for so long, it feels good to write that title. A good couple of days off from work, gave me enough time to get a handle on many things that were getting out of control.
I did take Pam's suggestion and worked little chunks at a time. As a result I was able to do the following:
- rake, mulch, and clean up the front lawn
- reorganize the pantry
- get my LLL files in order and process some paperwork (not finished yet tho)
- move the shelving unit and contents of shelves out of the bathroom/pantry off the kitchen to prep for the remodeling job
- grocery shopping
- get December school plans in order
- cleared out a bunch of the kids games and toys to take to school
- laundry
- cut my hair (yes, I did it myself and I'd say it looks pretty good)
- made my yummy mashed potatoes
- made real corn-bread stuffing for Sean
- made a birthday cake for Sean
- moved one of the futons in the livingroom which really made a big change in there that we realllyy like

wow I am so impressed! I'll tell you a little secret ... the woman who really knows how to use the 15 min thing is Marla of www.Flylady.net! I can't handle her stuff everyday ... but she's got some great plans.
