Day 10
Okay, so it's Day 10 and I feel like I'm running out of things to write about. I'm sure that surprises those of you who know me. :) So, here's an open invitation -- if there is something you are dying to know about me, just jot it in the comments and it will give me fodder for an upcoming post.
In the meantime, I'll just chat about our Veteran's Day program at school. Today was the first day that our preschool students participated in a school-wide program at our elementary school. (We merged with the school district in Jan. '06). I'd have to say that our students behaved beautifully -- dare I say even better than the Kindergartens we were sitting next to?? I think it was partially because it is a great bunch of kids and partially because we prepared them for what to expect and how to act. I'd been reading them a social story about the assembly all week, which really helped. It was such fun to see the older siblings of our students and former students of mine all grown up. My students said that there favorite part was the singing and music (the Middle School string band performed). All in all, a very nice day.
Here's something for fun and to help someone with their research project. There is a Blogging Survey - I think it is only for moms who blog. I did it, it was painless. :)
Of course, we are on the eve of a weekend, which, as you know, results in much excitement - not always the good kind! around here. Wish us luck since I'm sure the neighbors will be around. On the bright side, then I will have something to write about.
