Rather uninteresting day for a Saturday (which is not necessarily bad). This morning I spent a couple of hours helping to move the 2nd batch of 100 yards of mulch that was delivered to the preschool playground. It's not finished but hopefully some evening this week it will get done. The playground is really lookin' good. I can't wait to see the kids playing on it.
Then this afternoon we went up to the Rainforest Cafe, just for a fun little take-the-kids-for-lunch thing. We don't normally go out to eat very often, so when we do it's a big deal. On the way home we were planning to hit the Hamburg fair (Lamont was going to be speaking there this evening), but we missed the exit and ended up trapsing all over southern CT instead. Then we unwound with a movie: The Manchurian Candidate - good movie, very conspiracy theory kinda thing.
Tomorrow, Ahren's friend Lizzie is coming over for a sleep over, and I'm sure they will be having fun despite the expected rainy weather. :) In preparation I will be cleaning the house. :(

Well, it's just me, your regular commenter. :-/
I just wanted to express deep envy over the topic of "rain." On Friday everyone I knew was acting all amazed that like 5-6 drops fell in various spots. It's a brown, brown world here in Austin.
Suna, I certainly love you too. :)
On the rain update: it ended up raining last night (shows how much news I watch). So today it is fairly nice (most would say it's on the warm side, but I don't mind that). Despite the decent weather, Pete took the kids to the movies. oh well, the house to myself for a while - so that I can...nap?, get work done?, do some gardening? no, silly, I'm supposed to be cleaning. :/
