Let's try again

And hope that blogger does eat this post too! I've been traveling quite a bit the early part of this summer, so far I've been to Nashville & Alabama, Colorado, Washington DC and this weekend will be in Philadephia. I've done some knitting, but I've done A LOT of reading. I enjoy reading a good book, but usually knitting wins out on my free-me time. But in the past month I've read The Red Tent and The Da Vinci Code. Both awesome and highly recommended. I'm sure that I am the last person on the planet to have read them.

I have Chickami almost finished, but have run out of yarn. But I think I might frog it, since it seems way to large - the gauge is dead-on but it is a good few inches wider than it should be :( I'm very bummed. I think I might start over but use some of the Cotton Fleece I picked up on sale.

I've also started and should finish (today maybe?) a tank for Ahren, it is with Dune ribbon yarn in hot pink. Really cute design. Pictures later.
