Back again, finally!

Most of my summertime travels are finished, tho' there is likely a trip to Maine for me and the kids along with my good friend Diana and her kiddos.

Not knowing where to begin, I will update the knitting projects:

~I did finish the Dune tank top for Ahren.  It took only 2 days and was a fairly easy project, you can see for yourself:

~While attending the LLL LDS at Villanova, I started and finished a new Booga J Bag - it is lavender/purple with a strand of Eros held through, really cute.  I took a picture of it, but it seems to not want to upload and now it is in the washer, so it will have to wait until later.

After the LDS, me and the kids and my mom and my sister, Dawn and her two little ones went to Sesame Place.  What fun we had!  Sean's favorite thing was the roller coaster, Vapor Trail - I think we went on it about 12 times!   Here are the kids standing in front of the gate:

The kids also really like the ball pit (but ball pits usually gross me out):

On the homefront, the butterfly garden is looking really nice.  We even had a visit from a Tiger Swallowtail (the picture is a bit foggy because I had just opened the lens cover and it fogged up from the heat and moisture, but I couldn't pass up this awesome shot):

One of my favorite plants in the garden is this Oriental Fountain Grass, it has these lovely soft rose flumes on the tops, so pretty and soft looking:

Today I'm hoping to start on the Honeymoon Cami in navy Cotton Fleece.  I say hoping because I'm having a heck of time reading the pattern.  It defines, ktbl, but then directs you to k2 tbl - does that mean "knit 2 through the back loop", like a k2tog, or does it mean: "ktbl, ktbl", I should be able to figure this out, and I'm thinking that it means the latter, but soon we shall see.  I hate to start it and find out I'm wrong, since you have caston an insane number of stitches (have I mentioned that I hate casting on!).

I'm also thinking of starting the famous fiesta tea set, but that will have to wait for now.

Tonight I'm hoping to get together with my new knitting friend Jenn and do a little KIP!
Cheers!

Hi. I googled "k2 tbl" because I just started the Honeymoon Cami and had the same question as you. Your blog was the ONLY site that mentions this (aside from the sites that just have it in a pattern w/out an explanation).
So, did you ever get an answer to your question? Based on how many stitches I start with and how many I should have after the eyelet border, I think it is ktbl, ktbl. However, it is written a lot like k2tog which makes me wonder...
If you can help, shoot me an e-mail at btooleri AT gmail DOT com...or Livejournal - username: madruby.
Thanks a lot!
