Goodies in the mail!

First of all, I have to say that I must have the World's Best Secret Knitting Pal! I got a package today with *2* balls of Odyssey along with a lovely little note (pictures to come later). I feel so lucky!!!! I wish I had her email address so I could send her a thank you note. Hopefully she will see this here: Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I love it!

In other knitting news, I somehow was able to finish the Asymetrical Vest, which I was certain and it was confirmed that Pete hates. I just knew that he would hate that the hems are uneven, even tho' it is supposed to be that way. The uneveness is accentuated because I was afraid that I was running out of yarn, so I made the last panel a stitch or two shorter than the pattern called for. I do have it blocking and hopefully I can stretch it to make up for some of the difference. I plan to have a picture of it on me tomorrow, since I will be wearing it to our neighborhood associations' Mid-Winter Dinner.

Baby Out Vibes Needed!

I am hoping that by tomorrow night I will have a new little neice. My sister, Dawn is going to be induced tomorrow night at 7pm. They were supposed to do it today, but the hospital floor was too full (full moon and all), so they got sent home. Dawn is not really a happy pregnant woman, so I feel bad that she has to wait another day.
